Our
Story

The Crossroads School of Chaplaincy was founded in 2007. It is a faith-based chaplaincy educational community. We expand interdisciplinary educational opportunities while promoting effective communication and collaboration among spiritual care providers in healthcare, prisons, military, police, fire, marketplace and religious organizations.  Crossroads chaplains now serve in several care centers in Colorado. We have students joining from all over the United States and other countries through our interactive distance learning class instruction.

We offer 4 Units of CPE training in a faith-based Chaplaincy School utilizing an “evidence-based” curriculum.

The Clinical Pastoral Education includes various methods of didactic and applied learning. During each unit of CPE, students participate in 100 hours of didactic lectures offered through interactive distance learning. Additionally, students take part in 300 hours of supervised clinical training per unit at their current place of ministry or any number of settings including but not limited to hospitals, hospice, corporate settings, prisons, skilled care centers, assisted living facilities, and churches.
